Parents and caregivers are an important part of school life. We welcome all community members to become involved at school through listening to students read, attending excursions, participating or leading art projects or just spending time in the classroom with our students.
Each year parents and caregivers are invited to become involved in their children's education through various activities at the school. We hold various Open Days throughout the year including Catholic Schools Week, NAIDOC and Literacy and Numeracy Week.
An Annual Mini Fete is held which is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Parents and Community Members are encouraged to attend and support this event.
Recent legislation requires all people working with children to sign a volunteer working with children check form indicating that they are not a prohibited person. All parent helpers at St Therese’s
Each child's progress is assessed on the basis of his or her class work, social skills and work habits.
Formal reports are sent home at the end of each semester.
Parents are welcome to consult with teachers at any time throughout the year by appointment.
